Building upon over 20 years experience in the construction sector we have an extensive understanding of all delivery models and have the ability to identify solutions to realise our partners’ visions.
We operate a lean overhead model where waste is our enemy. Low overheads enables us to reduce costs and increase profits for us and our clients and partners.
Contracting: We undertake traditional and design and build main contracting for local authorities, housing associations and private developers.
Land-led Contracting: We offer a complete turnkey land and construction service to our clients. We source land, procure design services, obtain approvals and build-out schemes.
Joint Ventures: We work with developers, local authorities and housing associations to jointly develop housing sites for open market sale.
Managing Director Grant Keys has over 20 years experience in the Construction Industry.
Grant joined a large regional main-contractor as a Trainee Quantity Surveyor in 2000. Rising rapidly through the ranks of the company, Grant was responsible for the delivery of a number of high-profile projects as both a Quantity Surveyor and Project Manager before becoming a Director in 2011 aged 29.
As Regional Director, Grant took operational and commercial
responsibility for the company's projects across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex.
Grant is Chairman of the Norwich Interact Group, Chairman of the Norwich Forum for the Construction Industry and is a Trustee of the Norfolk Construction Charitable Trust.
Before joining Abode, Garry worked for a large regional contractor for over 36 years.
During his long career Garry has gained huge experience in all aspects of the estimating process which include reviewing tender documents, preparation of sub contractor/material enquiries, preparation of sub contractor comparisons, analytical pricing, subsequent negotiations and carrying out handovers to the construction team. He has experience of managing tenders up to £45m in value including traditional bills of quantities, plan and specification, design and build, two-stage tenders and negotiated/framework projects.
Dan has over 20 years experience in the construction industry.
After leaving school, Dan undertook a bricklaying apprenticeship with
a local contractor gaining an NVQ level 3 before going on to gain both an ONC in Construction and an HND in Construction. Prior to joining Abode, Dan was the Production Manager for Alfred Charles Homes where he was responsible for the delivery of the several housing projects.
Adrian has over 20 years experience in the Construction Industry.
Adrian joined a large regional main-contractor as a Trainee Contracts Manager in 2000.
Throughout his career, at both regional and national contractors, Adrian has overseen the delivery of a number of housing projects as well as projects in other Sectors.
Julie has 35 years experience in the Construction Industry.
She has undertaken various secretarial and PA roles for contractors, developers and suppliers and, immediately before joining Abode, was PA to the Group Chairman of a large regional contractor.
Julie is also Secretary of the Norwich Forum for the Construction Industry.
